SureWerx is Hiring a Business Systems Analyst (FT) Near Elgin, IL

SureWerx is a national supplier of tool, equipment, and safety product lines for the Canadian and US markets. Our range of products include abrasives, air tools, hand tools, material handling, lifting equipment and safety apparel and products. Our USA headquarters is in Elgin, Illinois, the Canadian location is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada with six branch offices located in the major cities across Canada.
The Business Systems Analyst plays a critical role in optimizing business systems to maximize platform engagement and help SureWerx achieve its business objectives. They serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure that the platform effectively supports the organization's customer-centric goals. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and understanding the organization's customer relationship management needs, defining requirements, and facilitating the implementation of platform solutions and processes. Your primary focus will be to enhance how our teams engage with our customers, streamline sales and marketing processes, and improve overall customer satisfaction. The preferred location for the candidate is in either CST or EST time zones, ideally in Chicago, with the flexibility to work at the Elgin, IL branch for two days a week.
Responsibilities:
  • Comprehension and collaboration: Understand business problems and opportunities in the context of system requirements and recommend solutions that enable the business to achieve their objectives. Work closely with IT teams, vendors, and third-party consultants to implement and maintain system solutions.
  • Requirements Gathering: Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from key stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and customer service teams and translate them into conceptual designs for system requirements. Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and reconcile conflicts.
  • Analysis and Documentation: Analyze and document business processes and workflows related to customer relationship management. Develop written documentation, which is clear, understandable, audience appropriate and accurately capture the key information required to resolve issues. Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, changes, and enhancements. Develop detailed functional specifications and user stories.
  • Solution Design: Design and propose system solutions that align with business goals and requirements. Recommend system configurations, customizations, and integrations to maximize CRM effectiveness.
  • Data Management: Oversee data migration and data cleansing activities to ensure the integrity and accuracy of customer data within the system.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans, ensuring that the system functions correctly and meets business requirements. Identify and resolve issues and defects.
  • Training and User Adoption: Conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure they can effectively use the system. Promote user adoption and provide ongoing support and guidance.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Create and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights into customer data and system performance. Use analytics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on system best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies. Suggest and implement process improvements and system enhancements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, ideally with Salesforce experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Project management skills and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Understanding of customer relationship management principles and best practices.
Optional Qualifications:
  • System certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator).
  • Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with data integration and API technologies.
